Sight seeing in Yellowstone National Park, lots of hiking and fishing in YNP, Beartooth Scenic wilderness, and Chief Joseph/Sunlight Basin area.

Cody Wyoming has a wonderful museum https://centerofthewest.org/.  Additionally located near Cody is the Heart Mountain Relocation Interpretive Center (where many Japanese Americans were incarcerated during WWII)  https://www.heartmountain.org/

The shops and craft brewhouse in Red Lodge, Montana (Red Lodge Ales) is a great place to eat and shop in a quaint downtown. https://www.redlodgeales.com/taproom

There are quite a few local restaurants here in the Cooke City/Silver Gate area, but our favorite for burgers/pizza/beer is Miner's Saloon, and for more elegant fare:  Beartooth Cafe.  Great breakfast is served at the Log Cabin Cafe, now under new ownership!

Q: Where can I purchase groceries/ Is there a grocery store nearby?

Although we suggest purchasing your groceries at either Billings/Red Lodge, Livingston, or Cody prior to getting into our area, groceries can be purchased at the Cooke City Store (kind of along the lines of a convenience store in terms of price and selection).
