Cancellation Policy
NO refunds/ discounts due to inclement weather, medical or transportation issues (including but not limited to "bad roads"). If there is a force majeure that CLOSES Yellowstone National Park or the NORTHEAST ENTRANCE refunds/cancellations will be made with no cancellation fee for reservations that are scheduled during publicized closure dates. If activities in Yellowstone National Park are curtailed but not completely closed, no refunds or free cancellations will be offered by SilverTip Cabins.
- 90+ Days ahead of reservation = No Cancellation fee
- 60-89 days ahead of reservation = Fee is 25% of total stay cost*
- 30-59 days ahead of reservation = Fee is 50% of total stay cost*
- 15-29 days ahead of reservation = Fee is 75% of total stay cost*
- Less than 15 days ahead of reservation = Fee is 100% of total stay cost*
* Payable to owners when cancellation is made--- can be made by personal check, money order or cashier's check and mailed to owners. If cancellation fee is made via credit card, a 10% fee on the amount owed will additionally be charged
FUTURE RESERVATION HOLDING FEE
If a guest determines that they must cancel their reservation for whatever reason but wishes to "hold" the same dates for the NEXT season, they will be allowed to do this by paying a "reservation holding fee" which amounts to 30% of the base cost of the stay they are "holding" (minus taxes).
This fee is separate from any payment for late cancellations as listed above and will also NOT be applied to future cabin rent.
This "reservation holding fee" simply allows the guest to book their same dates way ahead of time.
